There’re many activities you can do in Bintan…… if you have alot of money to spare.
So, even though there were trekking trips, mini excursion tours to see fireflies or the mangrove, or activities such as jet-skiing, yatching… we did none of those. All we did were FOC activities, mostly swimming & sun-tanning. Still, all our pockets were pretty empty by the end of the trip because we spent so much on FOOD! Frankly, everything was expensive in Bintan. All our meals exceeded $100 for the whole group.
Right after we checked into our villa, we decided to order Room Service for lunch and we ate at the outdoor dining table!
Food was very nice and we were truly famished! We finished everything at record speed (also because there were hungry flies and we were tired of waving above our food all the time. Alfresco dining was not as romantic as we though. =.=)
And guess what we got right down to doing???? Swimming of course!!
Brought 2 floats to Bintan – A round one for Joey…
… and a round one with mushroom shade for Jayne! (But the mushroom stem was lembeh most of the time, sadly)
But I am sure you can tell…. Jayne’s not very happy to be in water.. =P
Haha! Amusing!
Joey’s very happy to be in the mushroom though it’s a little undersized for her…
I have no idea why Baby Jayne loves to bathe & splash water at others & herself during bath time everyday but freaks out at being in the pool??!
Eventually, she retreated to the side of the pool, happy just by tapping the water with her hands.. =.=
The weather was just nice for her to roam around…
Joey and her new-found best friend, Uncle Tristan! Thank God for Tris’ patience and longsuffering, and he was able to entertain Joey for much of the trip! Thank you, my friend. :)
Baby Justin was happy to be in the float!
At least he was happy chewing on it.. =P
Haha.. Baby Jayne was still being ‘tortured’… =P
Oh, Uncle Tristan is so handsome & cute even when he’s posing with the mushroom!!! (That’s for repaying you for entertaining my daughter for 3D2N. Now we are even.)
Just enjoying time with my family & loved ones… =)
What you saw was a compilation of swimming photos over 3 days. Joey swam EVERY SINGLE DAY, 2 or 3 times per day. She’s now as black as charcoal, goodness me!
