It’s weird. Papa Isaiah & I have been together for 18 years (Courtship & marriage all counted in, but excluding the 2 years I was secretly in love with him LOL!), but I still think he is getting more and more handsome by the days. It’s weird because going by normal standards, I ought to get sick of his face by now, you think? Then again, I’ve never really been normal all my life.
Papa Isaiah is a person with passion in many things in life. He loves soccer and would lay down his life for me Liverpool (ahem), has much interest in photography, enjoys gym-ing and playing basketball, table-tennis,badminton, and is good at bowling & Rubix. His forte is in Mathematics. Numbers & figures have never been my cup of tea, but it’s clearly his strength. He is a man who treasures friendships a lot and because of that, he has many good friends in his life.
Recently, Papa Isaiah finally fulfilled his dream of owning a Nikon DSLR. He was so thrilled. Look how focused he was (and how amused my daughter was that Daddy was shooting a … vase. Ha!)
I am thankful that I am able to marry my childhood sweetheart and the first and only man I fell in love with. And of course very blessed that he is the wonderful daddy of our beautiful girls. =) In our many years together, Papa Isaiah always makes me feel that I am the most important person in his life and that he would make sacrifices for my sake. I am grateful that God has put us together so that I can be filled with so much love in my heart everyday. He is the shoulder I can lean on, and my tower of refuge. He assures me, and supports me when I feel down. He is my partner in the journey of parenthood and because he is around, everything feels alright.
Thank you Papa Isaiah, for your love for me and the kids. Thank you for being our strength and security. We love you always, always, always.
Happy Father’s Day, dear. =)
