What do you do when the only time you have with the kids are during the weekends but you have 1001 errands to run at the same time?
You bring the kids with you! Haha!
One of the weekends, Papa Isaiah had to do a site reccee at East Coast Park and we all followed him there. The kids were excited even though all they did was to follow Daddy around. It was almost like they were on a secret sacred mission.
We went to the FUTSAL field to check out the prices and availability. There was a cricket competition going on there, and the whole atmosphere was very exciting. =)
We stayed around to watch for a while. It was an interesting game to watch, and my girls’ first cricket game-watching.
See how Daddy was discussing with the vendor and my little girls were getting themselves involved as well. They must be so proud that they could be Daddy’s helpers. =P
It may be tiring to include the kids in everything we do and everywhere we go, but it’s also the only way to involve them in our lives. Given the fact that we have very limited time with our kids and the speed at which they grow up, we really need to treasure every minute we have with them. Most of the time, when they come across things they have not seen before, they would question, and that’s when I get to teach them stuffs outside of the textbooks as well. So, we got to get our errands done, spend time with our kiddos and teach them interesting stuffs too. Pretty good deal if you ask me. =)
