It is highly amusing to me whenever I observe my kids interact with other children. My kids are so active they cannot sit still most of the time, as if there’re ants biting at their backsides. =P In comparison, most of my friends’ kids are quieter and toned down. See below:
Chernise (on the left) is one month older than Baby Jayne. During dinner one day, we let them sit side by side in hope that they can chat with each other if they’re bored.
The 1st minute.. Still good, both kids were still seated in their high chairs.
5 minutes on, Baby Jayne started to get restless and reached out for a glass of water. Chernise watched her intently, not moving.
10 minutes on, Baby Jayne was losing her patience and thinking of ways to get out of the high chair. How about Chernise? She started posing for my camera (Cue finger to the cheek & stare in front).
15 minutes later, Baby Jayne was on her way out of the high chair. Chernise is STILL posing for my camera.
See the difference?
Moral of the story: There are ants biting at Baby Jayne’s backside and none biting at Chernise’s.
Sometimes I wish Baby Jayne can grow up faster, then she’ll be like Jie Jie Joey, who can feed herself properly and enjoy a good time with her friends without mummy worrying. =)
