Located in Tanglin Shopping Centre on Level 2 is a lovely cafe Steeple’s Deli. I was first brought there by hubby who raved about how yummy their chocolate fudge was. They were indeed yummy by the way. But what made me go back to the place time and again is the layout of the cafe. Bar counter seating is loves!
As you can see, the cafe is really small and a mere crowd of 10+ people would take up all the available seats. They serve western cuisines like burgers, salads, soups and desserts like fudge, cookies, brownies etc. Really the kind of stuffs I like.
This is a great place for drinks and a quick bite, though their main courses like fish & chips and chicken chop look very good too. Most customers go for their burgers and sandwiches though. Prices are pretty reasonable. Sandwiches and burgers are served with coleslaw and french fries and cost about $10/plate. Coffees are at $4 and the Earl Grey tea I ordered was $3.50 for a pot.
The decor is considered country-style, and definitely makes you feel at home.
The chocolate fudge. Heavenly chocolaty. And there’re marshmallows in them too! Makes for a really chewy bite. 90 cents/piece.

For a basket of fries like this, we paid $3. Reasonable right??
It was pretty awesome too that Joey could watch the food being prepared and served.
