We Retreated To Bintan Lagoon Resort (Part 1)

It was our 3rd time back at Bintan Lagoon Resort! It was my company’s annual staff retreat and we were back at the same resort we went to last year. =) So convenient to get to Bintan – Just a boat ride away! In less than 1.5 hours, we were in another land, one hour behind Singapore. =D

The best thing about going for a Staff Retreat for my type of organisation was that there were many interesting activities organised by the Children’s Church for the kids! In fact, their activities were even more interesting than the adults! While the adults had free & easy time, they had archery, golfing, origami etc!

These were the amazing nursery & children’s church workers who kept our kids occupied during the whole retreat! It must be hard work taking care of so many children of all age groups!

The Children’s Church workers planned fun carnivals and activities for the kids. My kids came back with tons of Angry Birds pens, pencils, stickers and notebooks – All prizes they won from their mini carnival! So fun. =D

This was the rooftop of the restaurant where we had most of our meals. It had a gorgeous view of the Bintan Beach. =) It was so therapeutic just staring out at the sea from here. =)

These sunbathing beds look really nice, don’t they? Love the resort feel in this place!

I love the blue skies and blue seas in Bintan –Although we didn’t really spend time on the beach, it’s always a nice feeling to be living near to one. =D

Very thankful to my bosses for making the retreat possible. Not only was it a good break for all of us from work, we had time to fellowship with each other and basically enjoying our time together. A company that plays together works hard together too! I sense a greater unity among the staff after the retreat. There’s already talks about our next retreat next year. Glory to glory – Let’s go somewhere further!! =P More photos in my post tomorrow!
