We finally made it to West Coast Park after talking about it for so many times. Granted, West Coast Park is really far from where we live, so it takes a lot of motivation for us to go there. Especially with our merciless sun nowadays, I almost needed dragging out from the comfort of my home. But I was glad we decided to go in the end. It did us much good to breathe in fresh air and sweat buckets.
The kids were excited to explore this new playground! =)
The West Coast Park playground is huge, with many sections. It’s a pretty fun place for kids and they can spend hours in this place. I wasn’t prepared this time round, but the next time we go again, I’m bringing my picnic mat and basket. Then, the kids can run and play for as long as they like while I read a book and munch on snacks. The park is such a relaxing place.
The kids’ favourite had to be this flying fox station. We spent so much time here as they went again and again. Papa Isaiah and I played too. Heee… Fun!!
My girls have strong arms. I went only once, and I could feel my arms breaking already. Too old for this obviously.
The girls had so much fun and I laughed so much just watching them. =D
This is probably the only version of flying fox that Papa Isaiah dared to play. =P He has phobia of heights, and the typical flying fox from a height would be too scary for him. Hee..
I love this spider web structure combined with long slides! My girls didn’t dare to try though. So I made Joey do a jump shot for me in front of it. She’s getting very good at it. Just one take!
The next section of the playground was more suitable for younger kids, just right for Jayne. That’s the good thing about the West Coast Park playground – There is something suitable for all age groups. It is a kids’ haven no less. =)
We only managed to drag the kids away from the playground by saying we were going to Mc’Donalds. I was dying for a icy cold drink myself!
While waiting for Papa Isaiah to get us food & drinks, I did an interview with the J Babies! Awesomely cute. =)
