Tiong Bahru Bakery

Mondays have officially become my Visit-A-Cafe days.

And I'm glad I finally visited the Tiong Bahru Bakery after hearing raving comments on the place. I must say I like the casual layout of the cafe and how rowdy it was at lunch time. The food's good too, but it would be perfect if it was not so expensive.

They basically serve breads (many different kinds), sandwiches and tarts, along with coffee and tea. Free-flow raspberry and apricot jam are provided, and I thought they were super yummy.

No menu is available, but that's because you can see everything available at their counters.

The cafe reminds me of some cafes I've been to in Australia - Really nice!

What a very happy sight. :)

Our orders - Ham baguette and paprika bread with bacon. I would love to have them served warm, but even cold-cut, they tasted great.

Paprika bread with bacon - $8.50

Ham Baguette - $7.50

Coffee - Hubby ordered large latte that costs $7.50!

My bun was yummy though... the combination was very lovely.

I finished it in no time at all, and was still hungry that I ate half of hubby's baguette. =P
