Joey is a bookworm through and through. She absolutely loves reading and can do so everywhere she goes. I, for one, am super glad that she has got such a healthy hobby (and also because it’s the only thing that keeps her quiet for an extended period of time. Shhh, don’t tell her I said that.)
But reading can be an expensive hobby, especially when apart from borrowing books from libraries, she requests to purchase them all the time. It takes me great courage to walk into a bookshop because most of the time, I cannot get the kids to leave. Joey, in particular, would buy all the books in the shop if I let her. Thankfully, books are good and worthy investments compared to many other useless stuffs that the kids ask to buy. Still, it’s always nice if I can get the same things at lower prices.
So I was really glad to be introduced to NoQ store, which is an online bookshop selling so many different types of books that I was totally amazed when I visited it for the first time. Online shopping is so convenient and easy – I don’t have to step out of the house, go from aisle to aisle to find a particular book that I am looking for (just use the search function on the website!), and best of all, the books get delivered straight to my house. No fuss and no hassle.

Joey is a huge fan of Geronimo Stilton, and she is on a mission to finish all his books. So when I asked her to give me a list of books to buy for her from NoQ store, it is of no surprise that she gave me all the titles by Geronimo Stilton that she has yet to read. Now, I’ve bought many of his books from bookshops before, and they usually cost about $10.50/book. But look at the prices offered by NoQ store when I searched for it!
Even the original price was lower than that in the physical bookshop that I usually patronize, and now they are even offering discounts on that price! Needless to say, I was elated! That’s a savings of more than 20% per book!
Look at the happy haul of books that got delivered just before the Chinese New Year – They entertained my girls very well during the festive season!
