Many people have told me before that the swimming pool at W Hotel Sentosa Cove is a really happening pool, and I witnessed it firsthand on Sunday. It was the Endless Summer Pool Party that day, and I spent a relaxing afternoon with my hubby and kids there at the event.
International DJs kept the whole atmosphere up with upbeat and great music playing throughout!
The pool was huge (in fact, it’s the largest resort pool area in Singapore), but what we really liked were the floating sunbeds, volleyballs and Supersoakers provided – That’s what a party’s supposed to be like! The girls were so excited and couldn’t wait to jump in!
Enjoy cocktails and yummy BBQ food while lounging by the poolside – This is the epitome of a good life. All hotel guests have complimentary entry into the event, and for the rest, an entry fee of $35 includes a drink. The aroma of BBQ food was in the air and happy faces were everywhere – What a very relaxing way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
If you are hungry, you can purchase food from these stalls. Prices range from $10 to $20 for satays, prawn phad thai, wedges etc.
The pool is rather kid-friendly. For Joey’s height, she could walk through most parts of the pool because it reaches only to her chest level at most. Jayne wouldn’t put down the Supersoaker! (And I can totally understand why)
There are some canopied loungers by the poolside, so if you are early enough, you can grab one of these to rest in.
We managed to get a floating sunbed, much to the delight of the girls! Its pretty amazing how something for thin and light could hold up our weight, and it took the girls a while to put their ‘trust’ in it. =P
But once they believed that the sunbed could hold them up fine, it was fun, fun, fun all the way!
