Outsource Spring Cleaning Services With Agent Bong! (Review)

Chinese New Year will be here in a week’s time, and I started to have panic attacks last week when it suddenly dawned upon me that I have not even started on spring cleaning in the house! As a full-time working mom, I don’t have the luxury of time, and energy levels are usually low at the end of the day. So what do I do? As an internet savvy (ahem) working adult, I sought for help online!

Agent Bong is an online platform that seeks to improve the lives of people. They know how hectic many of our lives are, especially here in Singapore, and so through their platform, they match customers’ needs for domestic help with their database of domestic helpers, maternity maids and baby sitters. That essentially means that all I need to do is to request for a job to be done (either in cleaning or caregiving), and it will be taken care of by someone who’s good at that. At the end of the day, I don’t have to lift my finger to do anything, yet all the domestic chores in the household would be well taken care of. Perfect, isn’t it?!

So you’ve guessed it. I sought for help at Agent Bong, to take care of spring cleaning of my house before the Chinese New Year arrives. The entire process was so simple and easy. You can either request for a service via their website: http://www.agentbong.com.sg/ or you can simply download their app via Google Playstore or Apple istore – “Agent Bong”. Follow the instructions and request for a job in a matters of minutes.

As you can see, the cost of the job would be stated clearly right at the beginning, so that you know what you will be paying for before processing to confirm the job. I posted a job request for a four-hour spring cleaning service via the Agent Bong application, and all I needed to do was to wait for applications for that job from various ones in their database.

Within a matter of an hour, I received two applications for the job. As a client, I would be able to see the profile of the applicants for the job (years of experience in cleaning, etc) and decide which person I would like to award the job to. On the same day that I posted a job request, I confirmed the domestic helper that I would be engaging for the spring cleaning in my house! So simple & fuss-free!

Once I confirmed the domestic helper for the job, I can communicate with the person within the app and confirm the details needed. I received several SMS confirmations when the job was confirmed and when we were nearing the date of the job. For me, it was assuring to receive such notifications along the way. On the day of the job, the domestic helper messaged me a couple of hours before the scheduled time and arrived 30 minutes ahead of time! I like his work attitude already!

The domestic helper got right to work. Our plan was to get him to clean our windows, blinds and the toilets. I am a little embarrassed to admit that we had not cleaned our windows and blinds for YEARS. The blinds especially were covered in thick layers of dust! The domestic helper cleaned every single spot of our windows and was very detailed and meticulous. Cleaning equipment are provided by us and he did not waste anything at all. In fact, my mother-in-law remarked that he was able to get the job done well using minimal resources. That’s a good point, I feel. No wastages, and yet the cleaning was thoroughly done!

At the end of the four hours, he had cleaned all the windows and blinds in the house as well as scrubbed our toilets sparkling clean. Those were the ‘dirty jobs’ that I have been procrastinating for too long, and I was just glad that this Chinese New Year, everything will be clean and nice! Best of all, I did not have to pay a hefty price for it!
