Hua Hin Travel: Hotel Intercontinental Hua Hin

Media Invite
There are some hotel brands that we know we can always count on, and Hotel Intercontinental is certainly one of them. No matter which part of the world you travel to, you can be assured that they always deliver high quality, maximum comfort and superior service. So , naturally when we were planning a trip to Hua Hin with our kids, Hotel Intercontinental Hua Hin was one of our top choices. In fact, the whole experience was so wonderful that we didn’t want to leave! No exaggeration there.

We were given two connecting rooms at Hotel Intercontinental Hua Hin’s new wing – Bluport Wing – which only opened a few months ago. It was perfect – Everything smelled, looked and felt new – I LOVE IT! For those of you planning a visit to Hua Hin soon, you’d be happy to know that this new Bluport Wing connects to a new Bluport shopping mall that is due to open in the second half of 2016. How convenient that would be!

Luxurious Rooms
Imagine our delight when we stepped into this room that the girls would be staying in for two nights!

Yes, the girls did exactly what I would do myself – Jump right into that bath tub! We love how luxurious their room was – With two huge single super single beds, duo wash basins, stand-alone bath tub, separate standing shower and toilet and a balcony with a gorgeous view!

Now, if you think their room was gorgeous, you need to see mine. =P Connected to the girls’ room was our suite complete with a living area, balcony, bedroom, and bathroom. It was so pretty and dreamy, I could stay in my suite all day long without going out!

The huge poster bed was super comfortable and cosy with so many big & small pillows!

It’s the kind of decor that I would like my whole house to look in! Totally sets the mood for a relaxing and rejuvenating time at Hua Hin.

Awesome Facilities
The swimming pool can be seen from our rooms. Enticing on a super hot day! And I was especially glad to see abundant sofa seating under shade that I can plop myself on while the kids swam. :)

Guests staying at Bluport Wing have access to the restaurants and facilities within the wing as well as the main wing, which is nearer to the beach and where the Kids’ Club is housed as well. The main wing is accessible via a bridge that connects the two wings.

In the distance behind the girls, you can see more swimming pools and the sea under the glowing sun. True blue beachfront resort!

Beautiful Views

If you have not been to Hua Hin, you probably do not know how beautiful the place is. I was so mesmerized by the view every day that I was there. :)

Glorious Food
Meals can be settled either within the hotel premises or you can make a trip to the town area to search for local food. We settled our first dinner in the hotel near to the beach and it was so therapeutic to dine while listening to the beating of the waves. It is hard not to fall in love with Hua Hin in a place like this!

We settled our breakfast at the cafe in Bluport Wing on both days because I liked how quiet and peaceful the place was. Comparing the Main Wing and Bluport Wing, even though the Main Wing was more convenient in terms of getting to the main restaurants and the beach, I really liked Bluport Wing for its quietness and exclusiveness.

This place felt like a kitchen in my own home – Love the mosaic tiles on the floor!

Planet Trekkers
The Kids’ Club at Hotel Intercontinental Hua Hin is called Planet Trekkers and they have the most smiley and friendly hosts ever, to take care of the kids. There are activities planned every day as well, and you can rest assured that your kids would enjoy their time there while the parents can go for massages or shopping that the kids may not enjoy as much. Many parents would tell you that travelling with kids is often very tiring and they need another holiday after a holiday with the kids. If you plan your travel properly with a stay at a kid-friendly hotel with fantastic Kids’ Clubs, parents can also get their well-deserved rest on such holidays, and come back feeling all rejuvenated like any holiday should be!

Thank you Hotel Intercontinental Hua Hin for making our stay there such a memorable and enjoyable one. I can’t wait to visit again when the Bluport Mall is open! If you are travelling to Hua Hin soon, I strongly recommend that you consider this hotel and you can make a booking online here. :)
