I’ve been battling with the problem of premature greying hair since I was in my Secondary School because of genes. It was still bearable until I passed 30 years old, which seemed to be the threshold for youth and aging speeds up like crazy, including the greying. So you can imagine I’ve tried all kinds of hair coloring products – Home kits, hair coloring in different salons etc, and how harmful the chemicals are for my scalp and hair. Because of my dry hair, I try not to color my hair frequently and just live with a head full of grey hairs. But seriously, which lady likes to have an image like that?
So Salon Infinity invited me to visit their salon to try out their hair services. Apparently, Salon Infinity uses Aveda products which are natural and less harmful for the scalp. Before the coloring starts with my hair that looks dry and unhealthy. You can’t see the grey hairs from here but they are everywhere. =(
Aveda Beautifying Composition Oil is applied to the scalp before the coloring commences, for protection. I felt well taken care of!
I was told by my hair stylist that because the coloring products from Aveda contain natural ingredients, I would be able to feel the difference when the coloring commences, and indeed she was right! I’ve done many such hair coloring before and the smell of the products used was always very pungent and strong. Aveda’s products felt different – There was almost no smell at all! Plus, my scalp didn’t feel irritated by the products at all, unlike past experiences with hair coloring where my scalp may feel heated up and even painful. Natural is still the best after all!
After the wash off, Aveda Color Conserve pHinish was applied and the Nano machine used on the hair. This helps to balance the scalp's pH levels, smoothen the hair and enhance the shine of the Aveda colour. 
I could really feel the difference in the quality of my hair after the coloring! It’s so smooth and manageable and the colors are vibrant and very naturally-looking! I love it! Can’t wait to be back to try their other hair treatments!
