BOUNCE Singapore!

Media Invite

My kids are just like every other hyperactive kid at their age – They love to run and jump around all the time, and they cannot keep still. When they heard that we were heading to the newest (and largest) indoor adrenaline arena in town, they were so excited! BOUNCE occupies a space of over 24,000 square feet in Cathay Cineleisure, and you can have endless fun at their three zones. I was particularly excited about one of them – X-Park. If you have been watching Ninja Warrior on TV just like me, the X-Park is a miniature version of the obstacle course!! More on that later.

BOUNCE Singapore caters to everyone from kids aged three and above to youths, adults and even fitness enthusiasts. I kid you not – A mere 10-minutes of jumping on the trampolines got me panting and heart pumping so hard! Best of all, I had tons of fun with my kids and we couldn’t stop laughing. At the adrenaline arena, you can jump to your heart’s content on the interconnected trampolines. The whole space is so colorful and cheery, you really can’t help but soak in the atmosphere.

There are staff on site to ensure that everyone is having fun but in a safe manner. The hard surfaces are covered with circus-grade padding, giant air bags and springs. You can literally bounce yourself from one end to the other – But don’t say I didn’t warn you – They are extremely bouncy!!! See those block platforms of blue, pink and yellow? We had so much fun bouncing off the trampolines and onto the platforms and off again. It was liberating to have a sense of ‘flying through the air’! For the first time in my life, I actually felt agile and nimble!

The Wall was challenging, but my kids did attempt to conquer it (without success). Still, they were braver than their mum who didn’t even dare to try. =P

There is also a Dodge Ball court (yes, filled with trampolines as well) where you can have an exciting game against another team.

The Slam Dunk section was probably created with people of my stature in mind – Short people can do a mean slam dunk too!

And so, after you are done with your trampoline jumping (which is all the warm-ups you need), move on to the X-Park because that’s where you can be a Ninja Warrior yourself too! I watch the series on TV often and always thought to myself that the obstacle course looks easy enough. Now that I’ve tried a miniature and definitely much simpler version of it at BOUNCE Singapore, I take back my words. My kids could complete the course much better than me, and they went at least 5 rounds??! I sort of gave up after Round 1, and was contented watching them have so much fun while whining about my aching arms and legs by the side.

I think my kids would be very happy if we had this obstacle course installed in our home. We’d probably go gadget-less and live happily ever after.

Seriously, even if you are not that into bouncing on trampolines, I would say that the X-Park is reason enough to visit BOUNCE Singapore. It’ll be a really fun one hour spent with your family, and at the end of the session, you wish you have one more hour. The Woodlands Playground is another fun place you can bring your kids. For the easily hungry, there is a cafe within the premise that serves food and drinks, and if you would like to have your birthday party there, contact one of the staff when you are there, or visit their website for more information: http://www.bounceinc.com.sg/
