I say yes, yes and YES to projects we can do as a family because that just spells fun anytime. Masons Home Decor came up with this ingenious DIY Terrarium set which gave us tons of fun when we were stuck at home one rainy day! It’s ingenious because everything you need is in this one set and after the products are completed, you get to enjoy the beauty of your creations for a very long time! Tremendous satisfaction when we saw our creations coming together nicely, quite frankly, and with clear and simple instructions provided, there is little room for mistakes even for the little ones! This was what came in our package – Just looking at them made me deliriously happy! =D
Colourful pebbles and stones are provided, along with adorable spades, little decorations, transparent glass containers and of course, the plants. It is so easy to put together a terrarium when you have all the tools in place!
A simple instruction sheet is provided, so fret not. It was really as simple as 1-2-3!
My girls are old enough and got right into action, and so the hubby and I could concentrate on making our terrariums beautiful. It was all peaceful until we fought over who gets which decoration to put into our terrarium. I managed to snatch one of the fences, thankfully. I would be very sad if I didn’t get it. =P
The whole process was so easy and fuss-free, I don’t even need to explain anything to you. Admittedly, the fun part was the squabbling and arguing about whose terrarium was the most beautiful of them all. In my heart, I was the champion of course. Doesn’t matter that the girls didn’t think so.
But of course, champion or not, the most important thing was that the girls had lots of fun building their terrariums, and everyone was mightily proud of our own creations!

I don’t think I need to tell you, but of course this was the hubby’s terrarium – Simple and straightforward. In his own words, he is a simple man and does not need much fancy stuffs in his terrarium. The truth was that he couldn’t win the fight with the girls in the family for the decorations, and so he only managed to snug a little duckie. LOL!
Tadah! Our completed terrariums! Brought so much colours & life to our living room, where they sit now!
