Joey had studied hard for most of 2018 for her PSLE, so I thought it would be nice to plan a relaxing holiday for the family during the PSLE marking week in Singapore. Main objective is of course to take it slow and rest as much as we can, so naturally when I was looking out for a suitable hotel to stay during the trip, a restful abode with beautiful sceneries was what I was looking for. The Haven Resort Hotel Ipoh was a perfect choice! We’ve never stayed in a hotel where we get to wake up to a gorgeous hill view, so it was definitely a very refreshing experience for us. The Haven Resort Hotel is an all-suite resort hotel and possibly one of a kind where you can get hills, forest, lakes and the city all in one place!
My mother-in-law was with us on this trip, so for my family of five, The Haven Resort Hotel recommended us the three-bedroom suite and it was so spacious and awesome. The suite comes with a large living area, dining area, kitchenette, three bedrooms (two with ensuite bathrooms), a third common bathroom and a balcony.
The kitchenette comes equipped with hob & hood, but take note that cooking is only permitted if you stay for more than a week. Plates and cutlery are provided for your use.
Snacks are provided complimentary and are replenished everyday (Because of this, my kids declared that they are not leaving The Haven, ever =P).
The balcony was one of our favorite places – It looks out to such gorgeous sceneries and really the best place to relax and rejuvenate. By the way, do you know that the air in Ipoh is especially fresh? At The Haven, because it is surrounded by all the hills and greeneries, it makes the air crispier and cooler too. It makes me think that Ipoh will be a great place to retire someday! =D
The bedrooms are spacious and cosy too, with hillview as well. The ensuite bathrooms come with standing shower area as well as bathtubs for those long warm soaks if you like.
By now, you must be wondering about the gorgeous hill views outside the suite?

What better view than hills, lakes and the blue skies? Totally make my day every time I stare at them! That’s what every vacation should be. :)
When night falls, it gets even more mysterious and beautiful. :)
Throughout our 3 days’ stay at The Haven, we encountered staff who are polite, friendly and very helpful.
