I Wish I Had A Sister

It is probably one of my longest-lasting wish ever.

I see my good friend Joyce who has 2 other sisters, and I envy her! It must be so much fun growing up together, doing all the girly stuffs and talking about boys. Pretty cool.

I like my younger brother a lot, no doubt. But having a sister would be nice.

Maybe that’s why I wanted to have 2 girls so badly. I wanted them to have good girly and fun company while growing up. And when I see the way Joey and Jayne relate to each other, I think they probably will have LOTS of fun!

You know who’s the first person to run to Jayne when she starts crying in the bedroom?

You’ve guessed it. It’s always Joey. She runs to her at lightning speed, and starts singing and dancing to coax her to stop crying. How loving is that, you tell me?

Then while she’s having lunch, she insists that her mei-mei wants to watch her, so have to put her right next to her table. In between spoonfuls, she sings and claps to entertain mei-mei.

I tell ya, I definitely didn’t have that much patience when I was a kid. Entertain my brother? You must be kiddin’ me.

The feeling is probably mutual. One enjoyed entertaining, the other felt entertained.

Did you see the garland on Joey’s head? It’s some hair accessory that her cousin wore as a flower girl before, and they passed it to Joey to play.

She chooses the weirdest times to wear it – Lunch time. And that explains the bloated mouth in this picture.

 

Aiya! If only I got my hands on this garland when I brought Joey for the Halloween Trick or Treat the other day!

And here’s another one – Reindeer’s horns! She can wear them when we go check out the Orchard Road Christmas lightings!

 

I tell you, having a sister is real fun. Especially one like Jie Jie Joey. =D
