While no two individuals are exactly alike, I have to say all babies tend to follow a certain modulus in their growing up. Even though different babies conquer milestones at different paces, they don’t differ that much from each other. And having Baby No. 2 brings about deja vu moments ever so frequently.
Joey spent 2 years of her life in the office nursery and Baby Jayne now spends her days there too. Every time I step into the nursery, I have fond memories of how Joey runs to me delightfully when I visit her during the day, or when she refused to let me go in the mornings when I dropped her off. Every memory brings a smile to my face.
Just like this high chair in the office nursery. Joey spent most of her meal times in it once she started on semi solids. Now, it’s Baby Jayne’s turn. :)
Just like her sister, Baby Jayne was immediately attracted by the straps and started examining them with great profound interest.
Before long, she’ll be chewing on them, I tell ya. (ekks!)
Do you know I love to play the peek-a-boo game with her? :) She loves that game. It’s an infallible way of making her laugh. The funny thing was Joey never enjoyed that game when she was a baby. She was too cool for that, I suppose. I’m sure Baby Jayne is a lot more patronizing when it comes to such things.
Oh, by the way, she takes in her cereals rather well now. Every meal is 2 tablespoons of cereals with a scoop of milk powder all mixed together. She finishes everything with no problem. Going to increase her intake to twice a day soon. =)
She really loves to smile, doesn’t she? And I fall in love with her smile every time I see her smile. Just so adorable. =)
And have I mentioned her laughs? They are so funny-sounding and makes you want to giggle with her as well. It’s like my most effective de-stresser.
I am so looking forward to the day she takes her first step! It’s going to be so fun when she starts running around! (Nope, I’m not going to run after her. Joey will do that for me.)
It’s not fair that I keep yakking about how funny her laughs and giggles are while depriving you of a chance to hear her yourself. So here it is!
I agree! She is so photogenic and adorable! :)
