It’s Papa’s Birthday – How It Happened

The grand plan was that I would somehow make Isaiah enter the restaurant at approximately 7pm, after all the friends have arrived by 6.30pm. The moment he walks in, Tristan will start playing the keyboard, Gerald will play the guitar and everyone else will sing the Happy Birthday song. The plan went perfectly well [well, almost].

In the afternoon of the same day, we had our CG thanksgiving, and I dragged Isaiah out for shopping after that. He was so tired by 6pm that he said he wanted to go home!! (sweat)

So Serene & I had to conjure up a silly excuse that we needed to check out some corporate rates for the Singapore Flyer, and I insisted that we should take dinner there before we go home. Isaiah very reluctantly agreed to go. When we reached the Singapore Flyer, I said I wanted to check out the Christian pub there for my zone’s thanksgiving event. Initially, Isaiah wanted to wait outside the pub!

Thank God in the end, he decided to step in together with us, and …

Great to have friends who are musically inclined and helped to pull off such a plan! Haha!

After the surprise welcome, we settled down for dinner and Isaiah received lots of lovely gifts!
