Traditionally on the 1st day of the Lunar New Year, we will gather at Isaiah’s grandma’s house at Johor Bahru to celebrate the New Year together. And I’ve been doing that since I was Isaiah’s girlfriend about 11 years ago. Can’t believe it’s been that long!
Now with the girls, we still make the yearly trip back and it’s always a day of great feasting and fellowship. It is especially memorable this year because it’s going to the last year we will gather in this old house before they shift to a new house in a few months’ time.
Dressed my girls in new clothes for the New Year!
Super sunny day!
The girls are amazingly well behaved on long car journeys. Thank God for that! :)
Check out the old house that Grandma lives in!
This 上海 wordings was actually the signboard of Grandpa’s shop long, long ago!
To Papa Isaiah, this house has heartwarming memories. :)
There’re a lot of antiques in this house. Isaiah’s uncle keeps a lot of very treasured old stuffs. I even found a very retro old radio which he converted into a CD rack!
Love the greens.. =)
