We had the opportunity to check out one of the most happening dance event in Singapore over the weekend. Thanks to omy, we knew about the event and thought it’ll be fun to check it out!
The Singapore Dance Delight is presented by F&N Fun Flavours and O School, and it’s the very first time such a prestigious international dance competition was brought to our shores! We caught the competition right smack in town area, just in front of Takashimaya Shopping Mall. I tell you, it was PACKED, PACKED & PACKED!
Just look at the excited crowd!
Street culture was everywhere we went.. and I guessed that was what made the whole event vibrant and youthful!
Some of the cool dancers spotted. Fashion is one major part in dancing!
We reached minutes before the competition started and the whole place was just already pumped up with loud music and lots of action. Many street dance groups were rehearsing their dance steps over and over again. They were so focused and serious about it. But it’s hardly surprising! The winners get to travel to Osaka, Japan, for the finals! =D
The event was organised by F&N and naturally, there were free drinks given away at the event. I LOVE IT!
Since young, I’ve been a fan of F&N drinks and just a few months back, I got ‘addicted’ to F&N Groovy Grape drink yet again! They’ve got lots of yummy flavors but my personal choice is always the PURPLE one! =D
Joey picked up a cup of Ice-cream soda and loved it! But of course!
The whole atmosphere made me want to just sway and groove along with them! Haha! But of course, I eventually managed to curb myself and went around taking photos with the awesome dancers!!!
I managed to catch a shot with the judges! Right next to me is Kenny Low, the Principal of O School and the other guy is a fantastic dancer & choreographer, Ryan! So happy to be able to meet them at the event! Their passion and love for impacting youths through dancing is contagious & very admirable!
The dance competition started and all the dance teams gave their 101%!
Awesome moves… coordinated movements and full of confidence and zest!
It’s always a joy to watch great choreography and perfect coordination…
Look, even Baby Jayne enjoyed herself watching the dance performance on the shoulders of Daddy!
The crowd wowed and the judges watched every dance step and judged the routines.
It was such an energetic event and we had lots of fun there! =D Thumbs up, F&N and O School, and Thanks omy! =)
