When you have two hyperactive kids who never (with a capital N) run out of energy, it is of no surprise that I keep a pocket book listing down all the playgrounds in Singapore, just so that I have something to refer to when I run out of ideas.
There is absolutely nothing like a playground that can bring such smiles to the faces of kids. And when the kids are happy & occupied, the parents are happy and can sit somewhere for a cuppa. God knows we need it.
This awesome playground, many of you probably do not know about. It’s not at the rooftop of some shopping malls, or down at some neighbourhood parks. This is at the roof garden of my church! =D The children are part of the church as well, and they are our future generation of leaders! They too, need a piece of heaven in this place! =D See how much we love our kids? (Cue: Love on the floor)
This is the girls’ favourite part of the playground. It’s way too fun. Even I think so. Makes old people like me dizzy, but I love it anyhow.
Me girls don’t go for mild rides for sure. They love exciting merry-go-rounds like this one. I had to keep reminding them to slow down, lest one of them gets thrown off. I henceforth name this the crazy-go-round.
Just look at how the little one sits back and relax, while the elder one does all the work. What is this world coming to. I remember being abused by my little brother like that too when we were little!
Thankfully, when the elder one runs out of strength, the little one lends a helping hand. Our siblings may not always get along with us, but at the critical moments in life, you’ll be glad they’re around. =)
See saws are our all-time fav as well. But still, it’s not half as fun as the crazy merry-go-round. The girls hopped back to the crazy-go-around in less than 30 secs.
The girls exhausted their energy at the playground and sweated tons and buckets! =X (All part of Mummy’s perfect plan)
