Oh yes, it has happened. On 6 Jan 2012, Joey’s 1st tooth dropped off!
The little tooth has been shaking for a while now, and suddenly one fine day, my mother-in-law saw that her 1st adult tooth was already inching out, thus pushing the baby tooth to one side. And, it actually looks slightly crooked because there was no space for the tooth to grow! So my mother-in-law quickly pulled at the baby tooth and it came off with a gentle tug.
Joey was super excited, and gave me a call immediately to tell me the BIG NEWS! She was so happy and elated, and said she’d wait for me to go home and see her tooth!!
And so, the moment I reached home that night, I was presented with this:
The tooth sure didn’t look this tiny when it was still in Joey’s gums!
Now, it seems that the other bottom front tooth has also started shaking now. My mum-in-law says that both the bottom front teeth usually drop around the same time, as they are the first 2 teeth every baby grows out. =) So interesting.
What a milestone in Joey’s life…. and mine too!!! Hehehehehehehehe!
Congrats to my baby Joey!!!! 1st step into adulthood! =P
