One thing you have to give it to the kids - They are full of creativity and can come out with interesting and new ways of playing with toys they already have. It's definitely something we adults can learn from them. Too easy to get stuck in a rut and keep doing the same thing using the same methods over and over again, year-in, year-out. With just a little creativity, we can also inject novelty and fun into our otherwise mundane lives.
Over the weekend, the girls emptied out their toy basket onto the floor and started creating art pieces with the toys. I didn't teach them that, so when I turned and saw what a pretty sight it was, I thought this should and must be documented and recorded. I love how much creativity there was!
Told the girls to let me know when they were done creating and these were the final artworks. :)
Admittedly, Little Jayne's looked more like organised mess, but we should never doubt or judge an artist's work. That's common sense, folks.
And since they were so artistic & abstract, I invited the creators to share what their artworks were all about. Thank you very much for tuning in today.
Creativity should be encouraged and harnessed. May 2013 be a more creative year for everyone of us. :)
