Christmas is coming! And there are so many exciting events coming up in celebration of the special occasion! Today, I share about the events upcoming at Resorts World Sentosa.
Celebrate Christmas at Universal Studios Singapore
Date: 19 Dec 2013 – 30 Dec 2013
Time: 6.00pm – 10.00pm
From 19 December, Universal Studios Singapore will be extending its opening hours to 10.00pm daily for a special Christmas programming. The event will feature the theme park’s annual Christmas light show (dub step Christmas lights at the façade of New York Public Library) and snowfall five times nightly. Guests can also enjoy a 16-minute special edition of the park’s live Sesame Street show, featuring an original Christmas tale. From 1 December, the park will be introducing new meet-and-greet characters. Do stay tuned.
Guests can also enjoy a 4-course Christmas set menu (lunch and dinner) at $48++ per person at KT’s Grill in the park. The menu includes:
· Turkey Roulade with Apple and Apricot stuffing, Chestnut puree, Raisin Jus
· Christmas Ham infused with Honey Cinnamon Wine, drizzled with Pineapple Jus
· Slowly braised Osobucco, Butternut, Mousseline and vegetables Ragout.
For Sesame Street lovers, a Cookie Monster chocolate log cake is also available for take-away, which can be pre-ordered (from 1 – 22 Dec) and collected outside the park at the Guest Service Counter.

S$40 (Entry into Universal Studios Singapore after 6.00pm, includes S$5 dining voucher). Guests visiting the park with day passes may stay on till the park closes.

To celebrate the first anniversary at the world’s largest aquarium and being united as ONE for Marine Conservation, S.E.A. Aquarium will be celebrating the year-end festivities with a series of education activities and public entertainment.
Highlights include:
· Conservation-related Tangram puzzles, Word Search, Snake & Ladder Games
· “Make your own Christmas Worm” and a Christmas tree where visitors can colour their own “My wish for our SEAS” tags at the Conservation Corner
· Artefacts Handing (Archaeological & Animal) at the Marine Archaeology Galler
· Free “treasure hunt” activity worksheet for all children
Public entertainment includes meet-and-greets with the aquarium’s Marine Mascots, roving marine-themed magician performances, acapella performers, Christmas carolers and chamber music quartet performances. Timings of activities vary. Visitors may check the on-site calendar of events during their visit for more information.

New Year’s Eve at Universal Studios Singapore
Date: 31 December 2013
Time: 6.00pm – 1.00am
Come 31 December, get ready to ring in 2014 with the entire family at Singapore’s only family countdown event – New Year’s Eve at Universal Studios Singapore. The event features tribute performances of Kylie Minogue and Britney Spears, band performances by The Rocketeers and DJ Edward to party the night away, as well as access to Universal Studios Singapore’s rides, shows and attractions. The streets of the theme park will also be bustling with activities for the whole family, including buskers, street performers, face-painting, balloon sculpting.
Park hours will be extended till 1.00 am on 1 January 2014. Most rides, shows and attractions will stay open (except for selected rides that need to close earlier in preparation for fireworks). As the year draws to a close, the resident characters from Universal Studios Singapore will also usher in the New Year with park guests, with fireworks over Lake Hollywood.
