Cafe Recommendation: Wheeler’s Yard

I got to know about Wheeler’s Yard from a friend’s Instagram, and thought that it would be a place hubby and I like. So glad we made a trip there!

Wheeler’s Yard is located within an industrial estate and it’s not exactly a place you would stumble upon. Even though its main business is not in cafe, I have to say that it is the cafe that has attracted the crowds to it. They specialize in selling premium bikes so if you are a fan of bikes, you would drool over their collection – They were really beautiful!

A must-take photo when you visit Wheeler’s Yard. The front gate is really cool – I love it.

The cafe has both indoor air-conditioned area as well as outdoor semi-alfresco area and we took seats in the latter. Love the centerpiece on the brick wall at the main counter – Made up of vertical bicycle parking lots!

There’s a fake loft above our heads – a staircase that leads to nowhere. But it sure gave the whole space a very New York loft feel. Coupled with the whole red brick wall and high ceilings - Love it so much!

Bicycles used as decorative items here instead of the conventional flowers in vases. Cool eh!

What I really like was the semi-alfresco seating area – Such a rustic feel with the bike workshop just on the side. The tables and chairs had a vintage feel to them – So awesome.

Food-wise, don’t have high expectations here - Cafe is after all not their main business. They are alright – just not fantastic.

We had a Coney Dog (Sausage, onions & minced beef sauce goodness) with French fries and a Full Breakfast set. More than the food, the ambience made it a really enjoyable brunch.

Wheeler’s Yard is certainly worth a visit!
