How does a leisure Sunday afternoon spent by the sea, feasting on fresh seafood and succulent meats, accompanied by live music and magician performances for the kids sound to you? If the thought brings a smile to your face, you’ve got to go for Rasa Sentosa’s Sunday Garden Party buffet!
We did just that last weekend, and returned home with a full tummy and happy smiles. If only every Sunday was like that! By the way, this is Rasa Sentosa’s resident band and I always enjoyed their music whenever I visit. Their voices are so soothing and good!
What greeted us when we entered Rasa Sentosa’s Atmosphere by the Sea restaurant was this colorful ensemble of cookies, jelly beans and marshmallows. They obviously knew how to capture the hearts of the little ones. Even I felt happy being greeted by them.
The Sunday Garden Party is a sumptuous buffet of fresh seafood, salads, cheeses, roasted seafood & meats, sashimi and an endless selection of desserts. The official buffet time is 12pm to 3pm, and you’ll find yourself eating non-stop that three hours because there’s just so much food to try! Don’t blame me if you find yourself salivating while reading through this post – The food tasted every bit as good as they looked!

You’ll be spoilt for choice at the cold cuts section. Everything looked so good, seriously.
If you are a fan of raw oysters, this is a piece of heaven for you.
And seafood lovers, how about a tower of prawns? Granted, that tower was for display only, but just looking at it made me deliriously happy. Now, let’s just dig into those fresh seafood already!
Mussels, lobsters, crabs, prawns, clams…. Everything was super fresh and sweet. My favorite has got to be the lobsters – The meat was firm and sweet and absolutely delightful.
Sashimi selection looking pretty and like a piece of art.
Cheese lovers would enjoy this spread set up, with fresh strawberries, raspberries, grapes and crackers.
The Roast section was praise-worthy - We tried every one of them and loved every one of them! The kids especially love the salmon, which was done to perfection and really tasty.
I found the chicken fillets awesome – It was succulent, juicy and very flavorful. The charred parts were yummy!
I don’t take lamb, but I was told that they did the lamb ribs really well here. If you are a lamb lover, this is a good enough reason to come for the buffet.
The prawns and crayfish were yummy too, and we had countless servings of them. =P
Oh yes, I give the roast beef a thumbs UP! I don’t usually like beef, but I took several servings of this because it was really delicious.
Peking duck rolls and tandoori chicken were good too.
Your meal would end on a very sweet note here at Sunday Garden Party buffet – And you probably might not succeed in trying every one of them. Then again, even if you didn’t, just looking at them would make you happy enough. Everything’s so pretty!
There’s even gelato available! =D
My family had a great time feasting – The food was good and the ambience was lovely. Nothing to complain about, really!
At 1pm, a balloonist and magician came to entertain the kids, and they had so much fun with him (while the adults continued to pig out).

One child below 12 years dines free with every paying adult, and S$28++ applies for
each additional child (including free-flowing soft drinks and juices).
Prices are quoted in Singapore Dollar and subject to 10% service charge and 7% government tax. Available every Sunday except special Sundays (eg: Easter / Mother's Day / Father's Day etc) where prices will differ due to additional programs and activities.
