Media Invite

People who know me know that I am not exactly a breakfast person. But if there is one thing I cannot reject for breakfast, it’s got to be Breakfast Cereal aka Kellogg’s Cornflakes! I’ve been eating Kellogg’s brand cereal since young and I enjoyed most of its different range of cereals but cornflakes remains my personal favourite all these years.

So when we were invited by Kellogg’s to have breakfast at the Singapore Zoo last weekend right before the June school holidays ended, we could only say “Yes!”. What’s more, we would have the chance to take a family photo with the Orang Utans!

If you are planning to visit the Singapore Mandai Zoo soon, you’ll be happy to know that Kellogg’s range of cereal are now available in the breakfast buffet spread at Ah Meng’s Restaurant, to provide nutritious breakfast offerings to diners. Breakfast with Ah Meng would be such a nutritious, sumptuous and fun affair for the whole family!

What can a father ask for when your daughter is so willing to prepare your favourite breakfast cereal? Blessed beyond words! Enjoying the moment as long as I can.

Breakfast @ Ah Meng’s Restaurant is definitely not for the weak-hearted. The girls were excited for the chance to eat with the animals but didn’t expect it to be a snake =)

After breakfast we headed to the Primate Kingdom for more family activities. To be honest, the games were common but for some reason, when the venue is the Singapore Zoo, the excitement level was just not the same.

By the way, Kellogg’s has warmly taken on the sponsorship of the Primate Kingdom and naming one of the Capuchin as Coco after its Coco mascot for Coco Pops. Congrats to Kellogg’s, and thank you for playing a part in supporting wildlife conservation! Thank you for having us at the event – We had a lot of fun! =D
